I only had time to buy coffee beans there but I saw the girls making some Cappuccinos and flat whites and the milk was done to perfection. The coffee beans I bought, which is what they had in the machine have resulted beautifully at home. I will definite go next time I am in town :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In my 3 days in Cologne, I tried 7 specialty coffee shops. 5th: Wiewaldi; 2 hand brew options, one arabica and one robusta. My arabica was done via Aeropress and was weakly brewed. >€5 (4) Here are my rankings and my notes for anyone looking for pour over, third wave, or hand brew while in Cologne. Tied for 1st: Meramanis and Cafe Gallery 4 3rd: Zwookaffee 4th: Coffee Gang 5th: Wiewaldi 6th: Cafe Kogi 7th: Meinstein Service: Dine in Price per person: €1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I tried out this shop because they had Canephora beans here. If you look this up on Wikipedia, they state that Canephora is Robusta but that's not true. Robusta is apparently derived from Canephora but the flavour is much less subtle. In any case, their Ecuadorian Canephora espresso here is superb! It has a lighter mouth feel than many arabica coffees and especially a much lighter mouth feel than Robustas. There are some wood and tobacco tones and a light fruity flavour of redcurrants. Highly recommended!
