Giraffe is a cute Japanese deli in a cute import store. That's cute times cute! They have a selection of Japanese shelf stable condiments and drinks.You can take them home! There are also to-go sandwiches and eats. They have hot items, including Japanese curry rice. The curry is a beautiful dish. They arrange the curry on one side and the white rice on the other, separated by a house-made fine diced pickle of sweet pepper, daikon, and ginger. Japanese curries range in flavor. I would say this one is mild and frankly I prefer the flavor at a competitor across the river. But it is still fine. You can order, then browse the store while the serve it up. When I was there, our table had a family on a food adventure. The improvement I would make is having brown rice as an option. So brown rice lovers, start eating here, and request it!
