Amazing food - best tacos in Philly. Excellent service as well, I ordered a team lunch for 15 people and they placed each order in a bag with the persons name on it and threw in some extra items - will definitely order from here again.

Grabbed a bibimbap for take out before the lunch rush. It didn't take long to get my food, but it was obvious that a lot of people in line were regulars (a good sign). My lunch was tasty and not too spicy (there's extra sauce on the side), but the rice was from the bottom of the pot and too crunchy/burnt for me. It was ok for the price. I might go back and try something else. The staff was really courteous and worked fast to get everyone their order in a timely fashion.

Whenever I have a day off and am able to make it downtown for lunch, I always agonize over where I'm going to eat. I don't get the opportunity often, so I have to make it good. Inevitably, though, I end up going to the same place every time: Giwa. Whether it's for their soon du bu, their awesome bibimbap, or their Korean tacos (or bibimpab AND Korean tacos, or Korean tacos and literally anything else), it has never disappointed. The people are great and the food is even better. The Korean tacos are worth the trip alone - for many days in a row. And don't hesitate to pick up a bottle of their house-made Gochujang sauce while you're in there. You'll put it on everything.
