This is the best spot near Shimokitazawa. If you are fond of Japanese cuisine, come to this restaurant. Many people visit Gochi2 to try perfectly cooked fish.

You have to go down some spiral stairs to find the place. Awesome food, great sake selection, super friendly staff, and it's a really good vibe. During my visit, it seemed to be all locals in the place so it really felt like I was eating and drinking in a genuinely good authentic izakaya. Not just a tourist trap. Highly recommended.
