While visiting New Zealand on vacation for a little over a week, on my very first day we arrived in Auckland, stepped out of the train station & decided to stop by Gogo at K20 10/28 Remuera Road, Newmarket, Auckland 1050) for a late lunch and early dinner. I ordered a create-your-own bowl with shredded chicken & veggie noodles, along with a corn salad—corn, capsicum (red bell pepper), onion, pumpkin, black beans, & seasoned salad—with roasted sesame seed dressing on the side. The bowl looked colorful, fresh & very appetizing when it arrived. The meal tasted good and felt like a healthy choice after a day of travel. The vegetables were fresh, the chicken was tender & the sesame dressing added a nice nutty flavor that tied everything together. It was a simple but satisfying first meal in New Zealand & a great option if you’re looking for something light, balanced & nourishing while exploring the Newmarket area.
