We have been to other GC's and have had great experiences. We were traveling to Rochester, NY from out of the area and decided to stop here at dinnertime on a Saturday evening (8/22/2026), as visiting a GC has always been a treat for us. We should have been suspect when the parking lot was NOT packed at dinnertime on a Saturday night. Numerous cups at the self-serve beverage stand were filthy. The food selection was lacking and less than desirable. Many of the buffet food items were missing labels on the sneeze-guard or the label was incorrect or so old it was faded and worn. The crevices around the shield were filthy. The Belgium waffle mix was watery, inconsistent and did not produce a decent waffle. The steaks never appeared after four trips to the grill buffet. The place was filthy and the carpet was peeling in multiple places. I needed to grab a wash rag from the unattended bussing table next to ours that was stacked with dirty dishes, cleaning supplies and wash rage and rewash our sticky table and seat. The outside sidewalk was crumbling and the outside logo and adornments were in great disrepair. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
