Always enjoy trying new places and Golden Egg was next on my list. Hostesses were great and patio seating provided a nice setting. My big drawback was the food. I decided to try the chicken and waffles as it's a simple meal that reminds me of home. Unfortunately, my waffle came out very over done and flat as if the batter was over mixed or just sitting for too long. May try again down the road. The Golden Egg Cafe was incredible. Delicious breakfast options. What a beautiful coastal cafe feel. They also have more than breakfast with lunch offerings for salads, soups, and sandwiches there are plenty of options for all. Even Chile relleno and tacos ... so many great varieties for early day eats! Great service.
