The Golden Greek restaurant is a breakfast and lunch staple in New Bedford, and it has been for years. As always, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings are the standard fare (though you can get gyro meat as well as ham, bacon, or sausage). The dishes are prepared quickly, and they'll satisfy your appetite. Not much has changed in the decor since I came as a child for Sunday after church, but the dining room is clean and simplely decorated. You should bring the kids for pancakes or a fresh bannanna chocolate chip waffle breakfast. Stop in a little later, and you can have a cheeseburger and fries or gyro lunch, and enjoy a good time and a good meal.
