If you have never tasted Chinese cuisine, you should order a table and try the menu at this restaurant. It's worth visiting Golden Plateau because of nicely cooked prawns, beef and satay. Among the drinks, there is delicious beer.
Food delivery is a big plus of this place. But clients rate this spot below average on Google.

Never had an inedible meal before from the beaches always enjoyed what our local restaurants offered until now. Ordered honey chicken which had zero sauce with old fried chicken that was rubbery and chewy, far from fresh. Last time Customer. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 1 Service: 3

Disgusting food and appalling way to run a business. Might get away with it in a regional area but not in the suburbs

I'm not usually one to write a review but I felt compelled to share my poor experience with Golden Plateau in the hopes that it might save some other poor sap. The restaurant is located in Collaroy and I ordered home delivery for Narrabeen. Albeit, it was a Friday night and I was helpfully informed by the lady who took my order on the phone that it would take an hour to arrive. Imagine my surprise, when the distance is no more than 5 minutes drive in heavy traffic, it took 2 hours to arrive, only to find the food cold and average at best. I phoned the restaurant twice to find out where my order was, politely; only to be yelled at by the extremely rude woman manning the phones that evening. It was not an unreasonable request to ask her to phone the driver for an ETA. Sadly met with more hostility. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
