A true classic — over 40 years and the taste is still just as incredible as ever. Traditional, timeless, and always delicious. The atmosphere felt too dark and the spotlights were honestly quite harsh on the eyes. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SAR 200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

A nostalgic favorite with a futuristic twist, but bring back solo-friendly prices! Golden Royal on Fahd Road holds a very special place in my heart—I’ve been coming here for years, and a huge part of that loyalty is down to the wonderful service. Lately, they’ve added a seriously cool touch—robot servers whizzing around with dishes! It adds a fun, modern vibe to the classic setting. However, I have to knock off one star because the prices have shot up dramatically. Most main courses now exceed SAR 100. If you’re dining solo and order one rice/noodle dish, one chicken/fish/shrimp main, and a drink, you’re easily looking at SAR 200. That’s steep for a single diner. My sincere suggestion: please introduce smaller combo meals for solo guests. You have empty tables every time I visit, and affordable, well-portioned meals would definitely fill them up! Still a great spot, but bring back some value for us regulars. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 100–120 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

we had our lunch in the golden royal chinese restaurant. well! we ordered a variety of dishes, presentation was beautiful, taste was average. i consider it overpriced for what they offer. i didnt like the staff. The receptionist was frowning and did not welcome us. In fact, he did not speak until we came to him ourselves and asked questions..
