Used to come here many years ago as a kid and it was the best sushi ever. Moved to Cape Town for two years and came back on holiday. The owners still recognised me and were just as kind as when we left. Live in Aus now and miss this Sushi every time I have any because they don’t sell Sushi Cake here. I went to Golden Rose in Witkoppen Road on Monday evening to celebrate a family member's birthday. We went as we saw that their sushi was 50% off on Mondays - however, it was actually only one platter that was half price on Monday. No problem - we ordered two of these and although half was vegetarian sushi (none of us are vegetarian), it was still fresh and delicious! Candice was our waitress, she was attentive to us and was very lovely - even getting the kitchen to make a complimentary sushi burger for the birthday "girl"! We were in a bit of a rush to leave as we had an event to get to, but we enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back to enjoy their other offerings and hopefully have Candice as our waitress again.
