In our opinion, the Golfhotel Riederalp is currently the best hotel in the Aletscharena. Why? 1. It offers beautiful, large, fully equipped suites that are furnished like holiday apartments. 2. Due to ongoing renovations, the hotel is up to date with the latest Alpine chic (if you love traveling back in time to the 80s, you will have to book somewhere else) 3. The spa area is unsurpassed at this altitude 4. Food and drinks are all served to a high standard. The same applies here: Valais tradition interpreted in a modern way 5. The size of the balconies and their location deserve 5 stars in themselves 6. Very friendly and attentive staff 7. The prices are completely reasonable for the service provided Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech

Best food you can find in Riederalp. We were not hotel guests but we went here 2 nights in a row for dinner. The Christmas menu is full of ideas and surprises. The regular menu is also good. We love especially the potato soup and lamb haxe.
