Trying good beef schnitzels, asado and beef is a nice experience here. Taste tasty leche flans at this restaurant when you happen to be near it. As a number of guests say, the service is cool. Google users assigned the rating of 4.5 to Goni Restaurant.

The servings are enormous!!! It was the best schnitzel I’ve ever had I think. Super crispy crumb coat like fried chicken and super tasty. The salad servicing was generous. But there are some issues that could be ironed out to improve this to a 5/5 experience. - the platters are so huge and don’t fit on the table. Perhaps could use some tiered platforms. - the meat platter was served on a large wooden chopping board and we spent the whole meal mopping up the liquid that was dripping off the board onto the floor. The chips unfortunately were soggy and inedible. I think serving this in a tiered setup with the meat in a bowl of some sort on the bottom and the chips in a bowl on the top to keep them crispy (look up Platform 82 which was a viral brunch place that was so good because of this presentation). - serving staff asked us if we would like plates, cups and cutlery before we had even ordered. It was a weird question we thought. It was also quite hard to get anyone’s attention at the end of the meal. They were very kind, accommodating and friendly though. - the meat platter we would not get again because the meat, while it was plentiful and well cooked, it was bland and tasteless. I’m not sure it was even seasoned with salt/pepper. I think serving this with some sauces might help? Overall this place is an incredible place! The serving sizes are so generous. We’d love to come again and try some of the schnitzels with toppings. I’d also like to try the lamb/beef schnitzel as well. Btw this schnitzel platter was the small. It was huge! Schnitzel platter was $30. Meat platter was $119. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Wow!!! Amazing MASSIVE portions that are so so delicious. Highly recommend the schnitzel and asado. So many choices on the menu as well, staff are so lovely and make you feel like family. Must go to in Newtown! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Goni Restaurant has an awesome atmosphere along with incredible food. If you are looking to have/ try some authentic Uruguayan dishes this is the place to go! The schnitzels are definitely a highlight. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40
