The hotel had no running water when we arrived (were told it should be available "in two hours"). The room's floor and coffee table were dirty (obvious crumbs on table). After a >6 hour train ride, I REALLY wanted to use the bathroom but would not have been able to flush a toilet or wash hands. Between that and the dirtiness, the hotel was unsanitary so we immediately turned in the keys. When leaving, I asked for a free cancellation due to the conditions. The lady who checked us in reluctantly agreed but I was never refunded! Service: 1

Gonio Inn has nice, clean rooms and direct sea access, plus a great bar with cool, friendly staff. The hotel team is polite and well-educated, making the stay really pleasant. The sea view is amazing, prices are fair, and even without a pool, I think it doesn’t need one. Room service works well and overall, I’ll definitely stay here more often. Service: 3
