The food was amazing. Service was great. We got to eat in one of the old school Huts so it was a blast from the past. We got to feed the fish and ducks. Price per person: ¥7,000–8,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I drove to Gonsuke-san near Mt. Takao. Inside the store? The inside of the mansion was spacious, and the seating was in private rooms, making it feel like we were in a private house deep in the mountains from the Edo period. I think the room is about 8 tatami mats. There is an irori hearth in the center, and food is grilled and eaten in this style. The food that comes out is wonderful, with a wide variety of things from the mountains to the sea. If I didn't come by car and I didn't have to work the next day, it was a place where I'd just drink and sleep. A very good experience.
