I weep for the closure of my favorite Greek place, outside of my hometown Chicago. Everything they had was soo good. Me and my boyfriend, who is Greek and I, part of a Greek family for 15 yrs, would like to say this food made our day. I kept hoping it would reopen, but alas, I am without my fave place to eat here in LA. If you never are here, you really missed out. LA doesn't have that many really good greek places in my opinion.

Our office ordered catering from Good Greek Grill this past Monday and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. I got to try two types of their meat: grilled chicken and gyros. The the meat is excellent. In particular, my wife, who is especially sensitive to the gamey taste of lamb, found the flavor of the gyro to be quite mild. The grilled chicken breast was less of a hit than than gyro however, and a tad dry. I've had falafel balls at other restaurants which I find to be overly salty generally, but Good Greek ensured that these balls were seasoned just right. Their pita and hummus was a hit with my son. I liked that the salad was not drowning in any dressing or sprinkled with a large amount of goat cheese. I recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a healthy, tasty Mediterranean option.
