Closed. Please remove this from the site. There is some sort of restaurant in there for lunch or dinner. Very disappointing when you want breakfast.

The restaurant is permanently closed. There is a "For Lease" sign in the window.  Hopefully something good will take its place.

Good times cafe? Not a chance. Ed’s Diner was closed so we decided to give these folks a shot. You know, usually you can tell if a place was having a bad day or if the place is just bad. Good Times Cafe is just bad. The server was great, but the food is the reason you go anywhere to eat. The food and drinks were all served in disposable plates and cups. That alone looks soooo cheap and tacky. I don’t care if it’s because of covid. Pay for a dishwasher and get some nice looking plates and cups. They were using like, Walmart plates and styrofoam cups like we were at a backyard BBQ. I ordered a country fried steak, with two eggs, and a coffee. My fiancée ordered a bacon eggs and cheese sandwich, and tried their avocado toast with strawberries. My country fried steak was just okay, nothing special and definitely not delicious. It was very average. My fiancée asked for extra crispy bacon, and the bacon came soggy, and the sandwich itself was also just very average. Let me tell you, we are not picky and are pretty easy to please, but when a restaurant is slacking this hard, a one star review is in order. Now, onto the two worst parts of our experience: 1. The coffee tasted like a Days inn continental coffee. I drink my coffee black. I know what good coffee is. That being said, I’m still not super picky with coffee but the flavor of this coffee was just plain bad!! After one sip, I looked back at their coffee machine and to my surprise I found a blue Great Value brand coffee next to their machine. That is like the cheapest of the cheap brand of coffee and it is blatantly obvious. The machine needs a good cleaning and they need to be using a half decent coffee to consider themselves a “cafe”. Like, come on..... if you are going to call yourself a cafe, you need to have GREAT coffee. 2. The avocado toast was so disgusting. The toast was your standard white square bread. Very thin, and cheap-looking. The avocado spread that was on top was like a dark green. I make fresh avocado toast all the time, and often order avocado toast at other restaurants. This avocado spread was just not a good color. It looked disgusting. My fiancée refused to try a bite, so I went in for a finger-swab of the spread and with no surprise, it was bad. Just bad. Avocado toast is so delicious when it’s fresh and done right, but the avocado needs to be fresh, and crushed to order not stored after mashing. I suspect the spread was not fresh. If I am wrong, I don’t understand why the spread was so dark (like a cut apple left out) and why it tasted so bad. I will say that the strawberries on top looked fresh. Anyway, we turned the avocado toast back to the kitchen and just decided not to get anything else in exchange. To the owners of Good Times Cafe, please understand that I am not writing this to public shame or embarrass you, I am writing this in hopes you fix what needs to be fixed and become successful! This area needs a truly good cafe. You have a good space to make this happen, but right now it is being very poorly executed.
