Lovely coffee shop, plenty of seating with some outlets for working on your laptop and great breakfast options. The cardamom Oatmilk cappuccino I ordered was fantastic. They have lots of local event posters for biking, crafting, drag and also have a sister bike shop down the road. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice interior that does have plentiful, if not very comfortable, seating. On the pricey side even for cap hill. Part of that is their tip-free business model which I do appreciate. You have to pay extra to add an egg to the croque madame which is quite absurd. Is the egg not a defining ingredient in a croque madame? That's like charging extra to add eggs to an eggs Benedict, like what are we doing here? Their lunch menu looks good but when I visited they were out of nearly everything, including all of their vegetarian sandwiches, so I wasn't able to try anything. In a city with three cafes on every block you can do better. Price per person: $10–20

Thanks for the feedback. We’re glad you found the space and the tip-free model to your liking, even if the chairs didn't quite win you over. Regarding the egg situation: it’s really just a matter of nomenclature. We serve a Croque Monsieur, and adding an egg is what makes it a Croque Madame. It's like adding an egg to avocado toast but with a fancy French name, and we like giving people the option to choose. That said, I'll see what I can do about adjusting the menu design to make it more clear. As for the shortages, we definitely owe you an apology. The restaurant upstairs was resealing their floors, which kept us closed for the first four days of the week. Rather than serving prep that had been sitting around, we started from zero this morning to ensure everything was fresh. Unfortunately, that meant when we ran out of today's initial batch, it took us longer than usual to get items back up on the board. In a city with three cafes on every block, we appreciate you giving us a shot, and we hope the next spot you hit has exactly what you're looking for.

Absolutely love Tailwind Café at Good Weather. The space is warm and inviting, with a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating (the fire pit is a nice touch). The menu is fantastic—lots of options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters—and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Extremely kind and friendly staff. A true neighborhood favorite!
