We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today. At around 1:30 pm, we went into the restaurant and sat at the first single table on the left-hand side as you enter the restaurant. We were looking at the menu and discussing what to order when a young female staff member came over to take our order. Unfortunately, her manner was extremely unprofessional. She repeatedly pointed at the menu and spoke to us in a loud and impatient way, which made us feel as though she assumed we could not understand English. We were simply discussing the menu before ordering, but instead of giving us some time, she kept pointing at the menu and speaking to us in a way that felt very disrespectful and condescending. We eventually decided to leave without ordering. My husband later went back and politely explained that we were only discussing the menu and asked why she was speaking to us in that manner. She simply insisted that she was “just taking the order normally.” Regardless of how she intended it, the way she spoke to us and treated us was completely unacceptable. Good customer service should be respectful and patient with every customer. Very disappointing experience. We will not be returning. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was generously portioned. Gets a little busy sometimes so expect a bit of a wait to get a table -- but long lines are always a great sign! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Goodfields Eatery is a nice spot with a relaxed atmosphere and a good range of food options. The menu has plenty of variety, and the quality is generally solid, especially for breakfast and brunch.
