Tucson locals recommended this restaurant and we were unexpectedly surprised by this gem. The food slection and taste were incredible. We sampled multiple items on the menu and everything was fantastic. The atmosphere and ambiance complimented the dining experience. There was a positive vibe/energy to this location and there were plenty of smiles to go around. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

Absolutely Outstanding Service from Alberto L at Casa Asada in Tucson! My family and I had the pleasure of being served by Alberto L during our recent visit to Casa Asada, and he truly made our meal exceptional. From the moment we sat down on the sunny patio, Alberto was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us enjoy our experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made perfect recommendations that led us to some of the best dishes we’ve had in Tucson. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented — the crispy, flavorful tacos with that rich, savory consommé for dipping were absolute perfection, and the tender, perfectly grilled carne asada with those charred peppers was restaurant-week level delicious. Every detail was spot-on. What really stood out was Alberto’s incredible service. He was proactive without being intrusive, checked on us at just the right times, kept our drinks refreshed (the ice water and sodas stayed perfectly cold), and brought genuine personality and kindness to every interaction. He even handled our slightly scattered table (phones, bags, keys, and all) with a smile. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. Casa Asada is already a gem with its vibrant atmosphere and fantastic food, but Alberto elevated the entire experience. If you’re in Tucson, do yourself a favor and ask for Alberto L — he’s the kind of server that turns a good meal into a memorable one. Thank you, Alberto! We’ll definitely be back soon because of you. Nice little restaurant. Tuesday is $3 tacos. Lorenzas y Caramelo tacos - carne asado and shaved beef ribs. Both were excellent, the caramello provides cheese on the taco. They're a grilled crispy and very tasty. Nice condiments bar to go along with the tacos. Beer is available. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
