My recent visit to "Goodwin The Steak House" in Helsinki was incredibly disappointing. Despite its promising name, the experience was far from enjoyable. To start with, the chicken wings were the worst I’ve ever tasted—extremely dry and nearly inedible. I specifically requested only the wings with no sauce or extras. However, they arrived glazed in barbecue sauce, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. This disregard for my request was frustrating and unacceptable.The burgers were another letdown. The buns were inconsistent; one companion found the bun slightly crispy but flavorless, while another detected no crispiness or taste at all. The salad on the burgers seemed to be pre-cut, kebab shop-style—something you might buy from a supermarket rather than freshly prepared. This lack of freshness was noticeable and disappointing.The fries were equally subpar—soggy and lacking any crispiness. I would rather have fries from McDonald's or Burger King at this point.Additionally, the service was uncomfortable. The waiter made unwarranted assumptions about our financial status, which felt both unprofessional and intrusive. The noise level in the restaurant was excessively high, making conversation difficult.Overall, "Goodwin The Steak House" was overpriced and failed to deliver a satisfactory meal. Nothing about the dining experience justified the cost. I would strongly advise avoiding this steakhouse.
