Perfectly cooked fried chicken, ribs and chicken steaks have an appetizing taste. Many guests of this bbq say that tasty peach cobbler and good soufflés are offered here. Goolsby's is good for visitors who have a snack in a hurry as they can order food as a takeout. The attentive staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Cool service is something clients appreciate here. You will like average prices. The atmosphere is calm, a lot of people appreciated the style of this place. As a walk-in, I placed my two orders, first a shrimp and fish carry out, second a BBQ combo.. told them the sides, paid with the cashier, was handed my bags/meals and went home. Got home and the fish & shrimp bag had only the sides. So I HAVE TO GO BACK.. and the cashier says to me “Oh! You forgot your fish and shrimp!” Noooo.. if there WAS an expiditor they dropped the ball! Not the cashiers fault, she’s just ringing stuff up.. but is there any confirmation that the order was filled and correct? Or do yall just place various bags at the register and assume that it’s right? And I’m presented like *I* did something wrong or forgot.. that should be addressed!!!!! Is that HER fault?.. is it mine that I’ve got a family of hungry people and have to tell them that I’ll be back and that “I forgot something?.,”. Not a good experience. This was my first time here and I loved everything I had the 3 legs mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese , I also tried the rib tips it was delicious! Will definitely be going back . Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a great authentic southern restaurant. We got off SR-520 looking for a quick bite. Stopped here because it looked quiet, and we had not heard of Goolsby's before. I am glad we stopped! We really enjoyed the food and the people. They are generous and friendly. As a bonus, they are listening to a local Christian radio station. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
