This was my first dining experience at this place. I am new to Georgia and the food is amazing and the staff is professional. I got my lunch around lunch hour in 10 minutes. The menu is well priced and the food is excellent. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

How have I overlooked this delectable gem. The moment I walked in I smelled the southern home cooked comfort food. I was greeted by pleasant workers and a southern belle, who I assume was the owner. She reminded me of my granny, who enjoyed feeding everyone a delicious supper. I chose the fried pork loin (breaded like a chicken fried steak), green beans, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, and a tea. They also had a choice of homemade rolls or fried cornbread—which I never had, it looked like a pancake. She said I’ll leave it on top so you can eat some on the way home. Boy did I, and it was delicious! Since it looked like a pancake I was expecting a sweet taste but it was not, however it was savory. Last but not least, I have to tell you about the peach cobbler—y’all when I say it was good, I mean it’s a solid 9/10. The only thing missing was some vanilla ice cream. If you’re hungry for some southern comfort food that won’t break the bank in a pleasant atmosphere, head down to Goolsby’s —they won’t let you down. I took pictures of my to go plate after I had a few bitesI couldn’t resist—but these pictures don’t do it justice. Portions were huge and so flavorful, I only ate half, and have lunch for today.
