We had the most wonderful time celebrating our friend's 23rd birthday with a group of four, and our experience was made even better by our amazing waiter, Somdip. He was so sweet and attentive, making us feel comfortable and ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely top class and delicious! For starters, we had the Korean Fried Cauliflower, cheesy fries, and the beef sosaties, all of which were packed with flavor and paired perfectly together. We also had the Ribeye Prawn Risotto, which was rich and flavorful, and the Fermented Flatbread, which was a unique and delicious treat. Every dish was fantastic, and we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. We’ll definitely be back for more! I had very high expectations for this spot. I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail by the chef. The focaccia came with no roasted garlic; flatbread came without mint labneh or ‘shaved’ cucumbers. When I asked for mint labneh the kitchen sent out sprigs of mint (see pictures). Honestly expected better. I don’t recommend this place based on my experience. EDIT: what concerns me is the fact that you’re justifying your staff’s incompetence. If the garlic was already IN the focaccia I wouldn’t have needed to ask for some. Our server mentioned it’s usually on top (it wasn’t) so he went back to bring it. I don’t think that entire exchange was necessary, the food should be served at the correct standard without additional back and forth with the kitchen. Unless it’s the standards I’m assuming exist that in fact, do not. I wasn’t asking for extra garlic - just the roasted garlic mentioned on the menu. As for the labneh, I find it patronising that you mention that I ‘felt’ there was not enough mint. I had the kerrie beef sosaties with the exact same plain labneh. So I didn’t FEEL that there was not enough mint in the one that came with the lamb - there wasn’t any. I’ve tried to stick to facts in response to you. I won’t be returning or recommending your establishment to anyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 500+ Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Just for some clarity, the roasted garlic is pressed into the dough and we also add some more on top. The shaved cucumber is thinly sliced and added on top of flatbread, as seen in your pic. The mint is chopped and added to the labneh, but as you mentioned to the waiter you felt there was none and that is why we offered some more mint. We hope you’ll join us again soon.More

The food came in very late However, it was worth the wait ,as thehe food was sumptuous. One of the downsides is that their "sharing plates" are really not enough for sharing. Ryan our waiter was amazing, the only disappointment was that we were not warned ahead of time on the kitchen closing time, hence when we placed our dessert order through it was denied by the kitchen as it was 3 minutes late! The music could use a little kick just to get a few of the customers dancing. Overall it was a beautiful night.
