GUEST HOUSE ARVAJ, KRANJ , SLOVENIA ‘Goveja juha z domacimi rezand’ ‘Beef soup with homemade noodles’ I don’t usually do a food review until a bit later after my meal, but wow, just a simple Slovenian beef noodle soup, but packed with so much flavour their wasn’t any need for condiments, which is always the true mark of a great chef. Just homemade noodles cooked in beef stock, a few herbs and done. Amazing. As a food and travel writer and Author I just had to recreate the dish when I returned back to the uk, here is my version in one of the many publications I write for. 4. junija sva prišla na kosilo. Za dobrodošlico se je na terasi natakarica s polnimi rokami zaletela v ženo. Nobenega opravičila, le z mrkim obrazom je odhitela naprej. Vse je bilo zasedeno, vendar je od ene mize vstal moški in rekel, da se lahko vsedeva , ker on odhaja. Razlog je bil, da že 25 minut čaka na malico. Vsedla sva se in kljub temu, da je taista natakarica dvakrat prišla na teraso, naju ni niti pogledala, kaj šele da bi prinesla jedilni list. Po nekje 8 - 10 min. sva odšla. Gostilna je bila res polna, vendar to ni vzrok za neprofesionalno vedenje zaposlenih. Žal nama je edino za to, da nisva poskusila hrane, vendar je po vsej verjetnosti tudi ne bova. Upam, da je bil to enkraten dogodek in da tako obnašanje ni stalnica. V bodoče pa vam želiva veliko profesionalnosti, prijaznosti in uspeha.
