From the moment you walk in the door you know that it’s going to be amazing. The hostess was extremely personable and engaging. Freddy, our server, was so professional and accommodating. We asked him for recommendations and he was totally honest. He told us his favorites as well as the most popular dishes. When we ordered, we went with some of his and some of the most popular. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back soon. If you have the chance to get a reservation, don’t hesitate this restaurant is so worth the wait. The bluefin tuna appetizer is an absolute showstopper—without question one of the best I’ve had. It’s incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced, and a dish I’ll come back for again and again. The spicy rigatoni is pure comfort food with just the right amount of heat. Every bite is packed with bold flavor, and the sauce is so good you’ll want to soak up every last drop. If you’re a steak lover, the 16-ounce ribeye is a must-order. Perfectly cooked, beautifully marbled, and bursting with flavor, it’s the kind of steak that reminds you why a great ribeye is hard to beat. It was tender, juicy, and absolutely unforgettable. Finish your meal with the pistachio dessert—it’s phenomenal and the perfect ending to an incredible dining experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, so be sure to book your reservation early. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or even just a night out that’s way beyond the typical Jersey Shore dining experience I’d recommend Gourmand. Pro service meets hip atmosphere and creative dishes that are just the right portion size. I’ve tried most of the menu (from apps to desserts) and have enjoyed it all. Best wedge salad my wife and I have ever had. It featured a beyond the norm sesame oil dressing. Also loved the smoky sauce on the chicken dish. The massive tomahawk steak at a neighboring table looked like quite the special treat! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80
