Search through the Indian and Vegetarian menu. That's a good idea to order nicely cooked roti, bhindi masala and turkey. Nothing can be better than trying good gulab jamun and tasty flija.
The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is creative. If you want to enjoy spectacular service, you should visit Govardhan Thal. Most people say that the dishes are offered for fair prices. This place with the quiet atmosphere can be a good dining place on your route. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

This restaurant is so pretty and cozy, and the staff are super friendly and quick. There was this lady, I didn't catch her name, but she was amazing at handling everything during closing time. The food tastes really, really good. I'll definitely stop by every time I'm in the area. It's just that good! I hope this review helps someone. I am half Indian/ half white, so I appear white and even more so when I wear my eye color contact lenses. I was out on a patrol with one of my employees who mentioned they were hungry, so we stopped at this place to get some food. When he went to order, he asked for a plate of food and the woman replied “no plates” in a very rude manner. As I stood behind him checking my emails on my phone I looked up to see two aunties giving me dirty looks. We ended up purchasing a few sweets, pastry and sat down to eat. I sat with my back to the rest of the tables while my employee who is Indian and male sat looking forward at the other tables. He mentioned that we were getting dirty looks and stares. The thing I don’t understand is that this racist mentality doesn’t belong in a multicultural country, nor does it belong in business. Perhaps if the small mindedness of the staff that is clearly racist was different, perhaps they would have a location in a nicer building. As the food was actually good. If people migrate to a different country and can’t stomach other cultures, such as black, white, Asian, then maybe they shouldn’t migrate. And no, I will never be returning, asking for a corporate order, or taking another co-worker/ employee there. Thank you for your racist behaviour. A big disappointment was eating lunch at the Govardhan Thal restaurant on Markham road. A small tiny cramped place with the buffet running down one side of the restaurant, the first thing that invited attention was that this is not a place which is maintained. It seemed to be a very busy restaurant with lots of take outs. Local eaters means good food generally but this restaurant was not. Tried everything but the only few dishes that stood out were the cholla, the pani puri, the dahi kadhi and the rice. Asked for Puris's but was told that they were out of sticky. (at 12.30 noon time) The chapatis were too tough to handle. At 18$ a thali, I have had much better. Oh and please don't use their washroom. It's slippery as hell and you could land up with an injury. The only relief were the smiling servers. God bless them.
