Caffe Cavour Di Vasselli Roberto is a fantastic one‑stop spot in Monti. It’s a cozy café that serves breakfast, sandwiches, gelato, great coffee, a bar and even has a small selection of wine and bee Mr to purchase to go. My hotel was charging €29 for breakfast, so I walked over and found a far better option. The staff greeted me warmly, and the €12 American breakfast (Americano coffee, orange juice, eggs, bacon, tomato with mozzarella, Multiple slices of toasted crostini , a bottle of water included) was quick, delicious, and perfect before my Vatican tour. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I returned later to pick up some wine and Peroni, arriving just after closing, yet they still welcomed me in, recommended a great bottle, and even added a couple of extra Italian pastries. Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out and made me feel at home as a Canadian tourist. If you’re staying near Monti or the Colosseum, make this your go‑to breakfast and coffee stop.
