Best place to eat in the Camiño between St Jean Pied de Port and Pamplona. Also opens on Sunday.Very clean.Fantastic choice of food for lunch, breakfast and snacks. Lots of drinks and different coffees.All with suberb service in English or Spanish.Red fruit smooth, rice with mushrooms (vegan), pork with vegetables and apple pie are all highly recommended.

UPDATED 15/9/22ggy are you still in the cafe as I came this June and you was closed please tell me you are still running this lovely cafe / restaurant, please say in a commentThis is a fantasticc small bar and a massive ambience and we have been there many times and really look forward to seeing the owner each time to carch up on what has changed. Food great drinks perfect and host also perfect well done.

On Camino one morning our group of 7 from Ireland stopped for a long lazy breakfast as we had an early start and were very hungry. Well we can definitely recommend this place as we ate our full of excellent food and pleasant staff made us very welcome. We even got a demo of the local Basque musical instrument which the restaurant is named after. I love the passion of the locals for their culture. Suppose we're both Gaels / Gauls after all. Promised I would write Iggy and sorry Im just getting round to it now. Best of luck. Vincent Harte
