Hello Mr. Omaha Food Critic. I see that you think that The Grand China Buffet is nasty and not fresh? Did you come at the end of the night to eat? Usually when you go that late everything is picked over, empty and messy. I have lived in Omaha all of my life and I have seen this restaurant change for the better. Lots of businesses are lacking help. This restaurant is no different due to COVID and pay. I suggest you go at the dinner hour when everything is freshly made, hot and delicious. You need to give it another try sir. I have been to KFC past the dinner hour and the chicken wasn't as hot and they were not going to make a fresh batch near closing time. Lesson learned. Unless you go to a prime restaurant other than a buffet you may have better luck. These people work their butts off and are not appreciated. I am sure they are short on help. You just happened to be there at a bad time for them. Try to pick different items that look fresh and appealing next time. Hoping that you give it another try and have compassion for the help.
