We are house's hunting in north Vernon and we were looking for a place to eat dinner. This restaurant was nice. The food was hot and good. They were playing Christian music . Midwest comfort foods served politely in a spacious sit down style. The fried pickles are fantastic, the coffee flows freely, and the staff are friendly. Three types of Manhattans grease (sic) the menu and there is no shortage of salt and butter. Eat at Grateful Grubb for a true Midwest small town experience. Very spacious seating area allow maneuvering of wheelchairs and strollers. TVs were playing college football for Saturday lunch hour.
