The Great Hong Kong Restaurant in Stanford-le-Hope is a bit of a throwback from the 70s, but it has a certain charm that makes it worth visiting. The decor is outdated and the staff can be rude, but the food is surprisingly good and there is a fun disco atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights. Prices can be expensive, especially for drinks, but the Sunday buffet is a great value. The toilets are not in the best condition, but overall it's a good place to go for a fun night out with friends or family.
