Seeing The Old Hartford City Jail requires time and efforts, so if you feel hungry after, come to this restaurant for a tasty meal. If you're a Chinese cuisine lover, come here.
This place has gone downhill. Our last order was as if we both ordered the same thing. We did not and neither were right. Hot and sour soup was bland. Too bad
It's basically your standard American Chinese restaurant. It was close to the site of the Hartford City Heritage Days so after we finished with our booth we walked over for dinner. It's a small location and kind of dingy, but I'm not sure I've been to many hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants that weren't. He got shrimp and vegetables, I got my usual chicken curry, and we shared a Coke just like the ad campaign suggests. The food was fresh and hot, and very tasty. The highlight of the visit, however, was the owners' small daughter playing power chords on an inflatable guitar to the tune of "Ode to Joy."
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. It's a little different no buffet and half of it is basically a apartment but I just enjoy the fact it's small town and all the food is fresh. I enjoy this Chinese restaurant more than any other highly recommend.
