Come to Great Wolf Lodge Water Park Traverse City to taste nicely cooked filet américain and good pizza. You will be offered tasty doughnuts and tasty ice cream. Employees are terrific that's what makes this place so nice. Many guests report that prices are low. Because the decor is downscale, visitors don't really advise this place. But google users are quite generous with this spot: it was rated 4.3 stars.

We’ve been here many times but this trip will be our last to this location. We were gifted this stay for Christmas and the person who gifted it to my family filled out the authorization form in OCTOBER. I get there to check in and first this young blonde who looked like she had better things to do completely dismissed me and refused to check me in because I wasn’t the person who booked it - after driving over four hours on horrible roads I was NOT happy. She then left after I said “I am positive this isn’t the first time someone has done this for someone and a form was signed.” Didn’t explain anything just left for 15 minutes. She comes back and says well we don’t have the form so you can stay one night but not the other. I said absolutely not. I said go ahead and call said person who booked the room. She did then explained to that person I would have to pay the other half since I didn’t have her card. At this point I’m getting furious. This girl then disappears again. Comes back and says well we need the form filled out or you can’t stay another night. That’s fine, get the form filled out AGAIN. Makes us come down first thing in the morning to ensure we could stay again and the person we dealt with the next morning was incredible. Anyways - when I finally get our bands, she doesn’t tell me where my room is she says “here” and hands me the bands and walks away. Doesn’t explain where to get anything, how anything works, etc. and although we’ve been here many times, things have changed drastically since our last time there. Incredibly awful service. Our bathroom door in the room wouldn’t close or lock, the room was filthy - stains all over the bedding and the floor - and used soap in the bathroom. Also had a lifeguard harass my eleven year old about being on a slide because she’s 5’8” and we honestly didn’t see the sign that said there was a height restriction. Wish the person who booked could get her money back because it was a major hassle for both her and I - especially since she had talked to staff AND customer service several times prior to our stay and they assured us it would be a seamless process. But the young blonde clearly didn’t want to have anything to do with providing decent customer service or have any interest in anything anyone had to say. I will drive to Ohio or elsewhere before I EVER travel back. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3

We needed to reschedule our stay a couple of times because life happens. We lost our $250 deposit as a result. We won’t ever be going out of principle. Be careful when you book.
