The welcome at this family run Greek restaurant is always warm and intimate. We always have the vegetarian food and it is delicious. It’s freshly cooked and full of flavour. The restaurant and toilets are spotless as is the open plan kitchen. From the moment I walked into Greek Flavours on Boldmere Road (Sutton Coldfield), I felt like I’d been transported to a little taverna in Greece. The warm, welcoming atmosphere was exactly what you’d hope for from a family-run Greek spot — it’s cosy, genuine, and full of character. The food was absolutely fantastic. Every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. I started with some classic meze-style bites, and then moved onto the mains: the gyros were tender and richly seasoned, the pita was soft and fluffy, and the salads felt vibrant and pure. Portion sizes were generous, which made the whole meal feel like great value for money. The service deserves a big shout-out: the staff were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made excellent recommendations, checked in just the right amount, and never felt overbearing. There’s a warmth there that complements the food beautifully. The whole experience felt very “Greek holiday” — not just because of the food, but because of the spirit. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s a place to relax, laugh, enjoy good company, and savour great flavours.
