We have been going to green basil for a good amount of time. Last night, we ordered take out. We got the chicken with broccoli stir fry and the Khao Soi. At the bottom of the chicken and broccoli container was a bug. This was very unappetizing and I immediately threw away the rest of my food. After paying a good amount of money for this food, it was really disheartening to see this. On top of this, the food portions were much smaller than usual and we were paying the same price as before when they had good portion sizes. We will not be back to green basil for a long time and will be going to a different Thai restaurant from now on. I recommend them fixing this issue in their kitchen. My fiancé and have sat down for dinner at this place a handful of times, each time our visit is relatively the same. 1 host/waitress/bar tender/cashier/takeout person. Ive talked to our waitress and told her the owner should hire more people so she can have some help. I was told her brother is the owner. She definitely needs some help in there because she cannot handle doing it all. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I have only had delivery twice but this time, for example, I ordered at 1:19 on Sunday and he was here by 1:45- very fast! I only ever get the Vegetarian sampler, and the Pad Thai (not spicy). The vegetables are very fresh, and the sauce is tasty. I have gluten intolerance and IBS. I have never had a bad experience with their food. The delivery driver has arrived with a wide smile and he is always well dressed. He smells nice, like men's cologne. I think he is the owner, and he is very nice. I will continue to eat from Green Basil restaurant.
