Table was too close to the door where there was the uniforms that the staff wore. We got a waiter who probably was there for 2 weeks. But it was a very lovely evening and we would come back again. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I love visiting Greenbush Bar. This Regent st gem has been around for so Many years for a reason. Great ambiance, excellent service, and some of the best pizza in Madison. I’m a sucker for thin crust pizza. I’m talking cracker-thin pizza crust that isn’t anything like your average pub-style pizza. I’m originally from Racine where I was spoiled with Wells Brothers pizza (IYKYK). I’m happy to say that Greenbush Bar has filled that pizza-sized hole in my heart that I’ve had since moving to Madison over a decade ago. Cocktails are great and it’s an excellent date-night location. Be prepared to wait for a table, it’s an intimate setting with a dedicated local following. I was in town on business and checked the area for pizza reviews. Saw Barstools review and was intrigued. After arriving I was confused by the locked front door and was bummed to discover they were carry out only that day. After getting my pie and finally getting back to the hotel I can honestly say that even though it was no longer hot, it was the best pizza I have ever had. The only thing that kept me from eating the whole thing was my Irish-Catholic guilt. Service: Take out Food: 5 Service: 4
