Lovely place! I was surprised when I went with my family for a quick bite to find they had several vegan options to choose from. What a happy surprise! I got the acai bowl because I always love that, but then I had to also try the vegan chopped cheese, and it was delicious. I’ve never been able to have something like that before, and it was so tasty. They also have so many yummy drink options. My only critique was the acai bowl was a little more water/icy than I’d prefer, but maybe that’s because it’s freshly made. The staff seemed pleasant and helpful. Explaining that everything is housemade. The space was well lit. Some tables needed to be cleaned. They were super busy. I had the chopped cheese, sweet potato fries and a green land smoothie. I enjoyed the green land smoothie which contained spinach, mango, banana, and honey I chose almond milk over apple juice. Very good! The chopped cheese was OKAY, could have used equal parts protein and bread but it left so much more to be desired. Everything "house-made"- I beg to differ. Based on my personal experience, many of the food items were not prepared on site. - Sweet potato fries - Onion rings - The individual with me said the burger was that of a frozen beef patties. While the food was decent I could've enjoyed far better at home preparing it myself. Overall, this is likely a good go to for many but not for me. I do not recommend Grill & Go Deli if you're seeking a good chopped cheese. I've had better elsewhere in the Triangle. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Sorry for the miscommunication from the staff. Some of our sauces are in house made along other things but they might have misspoke. We’ll address that with them. Thank you for stopping by. We hope you have a better experience next time if you’re willing to give it another try. :)
