Grisen is pretty near Ringnes Olsenter. A lot of visitors point out that waiters serve tasty broth, bacon and succulent steaks here. When visiting this bar, order good draft beer. Clients don't highly appreciate halva and coffee at Grisen.

Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. Most reviewers mark that the staff is competent here. If you want to enjoy fast service, you should go to this place. Very nice place in torshov. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. The interiors have appeal and the staff is very friendly. I tried a dagens based on chicken, kimchi, aioli and fries, at a good price and everything was tasty, even the beers of course Price per person: kr 200–300 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The place to go for enjoying a beer outside in the evening sun. They have a good beer collection. I recommend '1664 Blanc' on a warm summer day. The food is good, too. I personally wouldn't recommend the Torshov Burger since there are many places in Oslo that have much better burgers. The meat or fish dish of the day however, is normally very good! Since Grisen is located outside of ring 2 outside serving closes at 10pm and everyone has to move inside. Inside it is extremely warm during summer. I don't think they have an AC. The interior is very cozy, though. Especially in winter! :)
I have experienced that the waiters were a bit chaotic but not to an extend that it was annoying. I recommend to just get drinks directly inside at the bar. Then you don't have to wait.
