Come to this cafe to have a meal if you are hungry after gazing at One Island East, 37th floor Sky Lobby. Among other International cuisune places to eat at, Grotto can be one of the best. Have good fried salmon, grilled bacon and cucumber salads at this place when you happen to be near it. Tasty French toasts, chocolate waffles and cheesecakes are the tastiest dishes. A lot of visitors order delicious lemonade, honey latte or white tea.

Step inside and it feels like a little cave, super chill and perfect for whiling away an afternoon. Now, onto the food. Their croissant waffle is a must-try. They’ve teamed up with FIFTY FIFTY, so you already know the quality is solid. When it arrived, the presentation was on point — golden, crisp on the outside, and that first cut gave a satisfying "crunch." Inside, it was soft and buttery, with that rich croissant aroma running through. Honestly, it’s one of those dishes that makes you want to come back. The other croissant waffle options are pretty good too — definitely worth exploring. Overall, Grotto serves up great food, with the croissant waffle being the real highlight. Prices are reasonable for Quarry Bay, and it’s the kind of place you’d happily go back to. For HKD 158 brunch menu, I still have to look elsewhere to fill my stomach. While the food was decent , the portion was not. 2 hotdogs 2 bacon and small portion of scrambled eggs was a letdown given there are so many other options at that price point. Forgive my bluntness here unless some may feel such portion is a masterclass of minimalism. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $150–200 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
