Very friendly and welcoming service in a typical cosy Grotto. We had polenta with homemade deer stew and the roast beef which was very tasty. Excellent value for money and highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

A nice restaurant to the side of the city with excellent food and good service. Also the atmosphere was very cozy. We went early because we had not reserved a table. We ordered meat from the grill and a baked camambert. Wonderful tastes and juicy meat. Definitely a recommendation and a place to visit again ehnever travelling by. I was really impressed by the Grotto al Mulino! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical traditional Ticino products. I decided to order polenta and braised meat and I must say that this dish far exceeded my expectations! You can then taste various types of fresh or mature cheese, cured meats, salads, minestrone and other traditional dishes. Various labels regarding wines. For dessert I was offered bread cake or an apple dessert but as always I opted for a great classic: vanilla ice cream drowned in coffee. So if you want to spend a nice summer evening with friends I recommend this place for the location, the quality/price ratio but above all for the cuisine!
