The Grotto, located in Vibank, is a fine dining spot that serves authentic Mexican cuisine and BBQ. The warm and inviting ambiance of the establishment is enhanced by the rustic and charming interior design, which features nice wood trim and just the right amount of lighting. The set menu on Friday Mexican night includes delicious dishes such as butternut soup, pasty wrapped pork, and Mexican bean dish. The drinks are also impressive, with cocktails like Pina Cola and Margaritas being standout choices. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the experience and the amount of food make it all worthwhile. The restaurant is worth the drive for this wonderful experience, but be sure to book way in advance as there is a waiting list. Special features include two private rooms and an open area with about 10 tables for open concept dining. The shared bathroom is clean, bright, and very useable.
I was part of a private book reading for local artists at The Grotto. The service, quality, and atmosphere were exceptional. The owners were kind and accommodating, truly focused on the customer’s experience as paramount.
