Rarely would I give a 5 star review partly as it’s not worthy and partly as there’re unlikely to be believed but the food was fres and tasty, service relaxed but attentive when needed, the atmosphere was also relaxed, friendly and local. It’s nice for a visitor to find somewhere that’s used by locals, somewhere that’s not touristy or a mundane chain restaurant, thank you Grumbles. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Oh, really sad. I've had lots of lovely evenings here but tonight was a crashing disappointment. I was served a DISGUSTING dessert - cold, bland, beige, boring, tasteless, stale, inedible. When I politely gave them some feedback it was NOT received well. Waitress was aggressive, unkind, defensive and unpleasant. Sad to say but it's the end of a 15 year positive track record. It's really gone downhill. Don't risk it!
