I was there when i visited from Johannesburg a few years ago. The thing is I still remember now. And if it is open next year then it will be my first place to go and eat in George. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I sure hope I'll be able to get a rack of ribs as a starter.... and then The TBone steak. With a huge take home box, because it's impossible to finish both.

Growing up in the 80’s there was something special about the Ribs we got in SA. When you get out of your car and walk towards the modest facade (be careful at night you cannot see the sign) of Grumpy Griller you can already smell that steak house smell of the 80’s. The ribs were spectacular. Owner & chef are definitely not grumpy and service is great! A must try if you are ever in George.
