We traveled from Saarland to see this beautiful restaurant and were in the green tree on two Easter days. We weren't disappointed, despite the restaurant being well staffed, we had great service and great food. Special praise to the two ladies from the service. We were really completely satisfied and would love to come back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First things first: We called 2 hours in advance to reserve a table. When we arrived at the Green Tree (apparently there was an event there on Saturday evening) there were 2 bouncers in front of the door who I told them that we had reserved a table - then the smug bouncer looked at his notepad and just said - "it doesn't say it on it - bye" . Honestly - I always find it remarkable how some people pride themselves on their "ability" through certain clothing, like that of a bouncer, and treat other people so disrespectfully. Since we had the gourmet pad/coupon book, we persevered and just sat outside. We had to wait forever for the menu. Well, at least the food was very good - there's nothing to complain about. But I wouldn't go to the Green Tree again because of the poor service and the haughty bouncer. There are many other nice restaurants on Gustavstrasse.
