We made an online reservation which the restaurant said they "have trouble with online reservations" and despite showing my proof of reservation, they were not willing to accommodate us. Unfortunately stuck with a gift card now and don't plan to return.

It was lovely afternoon for a top down drive on the first week in November! We headed south towards New Heaven and wound up at the The Guilford Bistro & Grille Cafe on Boston Post Rd. I had the Bistro Salmon with a red onion and honey mustard glaze, served with grilled vegetables it was perfectly cooked, flakey & flavorful! Jay had the Salmon limoncello perfectly pan seared salmon with a limoncello & white wine reduction, topped with artichoke hearts & sun dried tomatoes over grilled asparagus, so good! The food was awesome no doubt however, there was one thing I think would suggest and that is give the place a good dusting. The glass globes and other lightening would glow so nicely if cleaned. This still didn't take away from the rate as to me the food is and will always will be most important! BTW the service as well was impeccable. Oh and we had an almost full moon on the drive home & and an eclipse tomorrow
