The food here was great. We had a patty melt cooked medium rare it did need a little salt, a kids meal, chocolate shake, chicken and waffles, some tator tots and chicken fried steak. Everything was cooked well and service was nice the only thing I would really suggest is there dessert menu lack. As someone that like to visit different diners in the USA, most diners have pies and cakes and this one lacks that. Other than that I would recommend going. Just had a fantastic family dinner at Gunther Toody's, a spot from my childhood that still rocks! We randomly landed there on a Monday, which turned out to be kids' night—kids eat free, how cool is that? The place was spotless, giving off a warm vibe right from the entrance. The food was even better than I remembered, and grabbing a big beer for half price before 5:30 pm was a sweet deal. Shoutout to the staff for being super friendly and making us feel at home. There was this talented lady making balloon animals for the kiddos, a nice touch that added to the fun. And guess what? They've still got a jukebox! Picked some tunes and had a blast. The whole place had a lively, family-friendly feel that made it a standout evening for us. Long story short, Gunther Toody's made our family dinner the best one in a while. Highly recommend it for a chill, family-friendly time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
