Came in for a buffet of a wednesday and the place was banging! The food is superb, piping hot and an amazing selection. I recommend the gurka lamb curry!! The service was second to none, the drinks were cold and the buffet is constantly being regenerated with freshly cooked food. Definitely coming back for a full menu sit down! Please don't ask because they no longer do this but a few years ago when there was a problem with housing slot of homeless people all at once the gurkha used to hand out there food that hadn't been sold,it was piping hot so no worries but I just thought that was such an extremely nice gesture so I always make a point of telling holiday makers that gurkha is the place to eat. excellent staff also Parking: I'm not quite sure about other cars but I know disabled cars can park for free on the swannery bridge just a 2 minute walk from the gurkha I think it's pay and display there if you can't find any spots in the other carparks. There is a huge pay and display in the swannery carpark that is never full Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken Tikka Masala Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot
