First time here and we will be back. Nice and spacious. Food was good and portions are quite generous. Service was swift and courteous. Good selection of various Indian and Nepalese dishes. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gurkha Oven in Spalding and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service that made us feel right at home. To start off our meal, we ordered the momos, prawn puri, and chaat, and each dish was an absolute treat for the taste buds. The momos were perfectly steamed and packed with flavorful filling along with the special chutney, while the prawn puri had a delightful crunch and a burst of seafood goodness. The chaat was a wonderful medley of tangy and spicy flavors that left us craving for more. What really made our visit memorable was the fact that we were celebrating our nephew's birthday. The staff at Gurkha Oven went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. They surprised us with a beautifully presented birthday dessert complete with a candle and a heartfelt rendition of the birthday song. Our nephew was overjoyed, and we were touched by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail displayed by the staff. Although the service was a tad slow but that may be because they were understaffed and the restaurant was packed for a Wednesday night. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always ready to assist us with any requests or questions we had. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a family celebration. Overall, our dinner at Gurkha Oven was nothing short of fantastic. The delicious food, outstanding service, and the extra effort taken to make our nephew's birthday special truly exceeded our expectations. We left the restaurant with smiles on our faces and hearts full of gratitude. I highly recommend Gurkha Oven Spalding to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience filled with delectable flavors and exceptional service.
