Unexpected surprise! Gus's Gyros in Racine, the prices are a little higher than I'd prefer, but this was one of those times where it felt worth it. They followed every instruction on my order exactly right, from the extra au jus on the Italian beef to the hot and mild giardiniera, plus the extra onions and mustard I requested for the beef hot dog. The food was surprisingly good. They also included napkins, which sounds small until you've had takeout places forget the basics. I'm giving 4 stars because I always believe there's room for improvement, and I'd love to see more daily specials for budget conscious customers. That said, great attention to detail, solid food, and I'll definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $30–40

Greasy and tasty. The gyros are a bit messy since the bread doesn't fully wrap around itself. The location is at a gas station so eating outside can get noisy with entering and exiting traffic. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: USD 10–20

Stumbled upon Gus's in our travels. Was a little skeptical because it was with a gas station. Was I wrong. Place was clean. Had the Original Gyros and fries. The Gyros was perfect, very generous portion. Cut fries were very good. Staff was friendly and quick. Keep up the Great work.
